This June bank holiday weekend, Irish Rallycross returns to Mondello Park but this time with a special guest in tow; The 5 Nations British Rallycross Championship!
That’s right – the 5 Nations British Rallycross Championship grid will visit the home of Irish motorsport for the first time since 2017, meaning that the best of Ireland and the best of Britain will go head to head in the biggest Rallycross event this year!
Over 150 drivers across 8 classes will battle it out on track over the course of 2 days, bringing a whole new level of excitement to the grandstand here in Mondello Park.
But the big question is; will the British drivers take the crown, or will the Irish drivers hold their ground on home soil?
Irishman and reigning British and Irish Rallycross champion, Derek Tohill, will be pushing his Ford Fiesta Supercar to the limit as he tries to extend his lead in the Irish Rallycross Championship, and try get one step closer to taking the British Rallycross Championship for a second year in a row.
It won’t be easy though, as Tohill will have BRX front-runners Oliver Bennett, Patrick O’Donovan and Julian Godfrey to name but a few hot on his heels!
With plenty more battles expected and grids bigger than ever before, this is just the tip of the iceberg, so don’t miss out – Make sure you get your tickets now at www.mondellopark.ie!
