Go Racing

Motorsport is a wonderful sport to be involved in as it is challenging, spectacular and exciting, and within the overall scope of Motorsport, getting involved Rallycross doesn’t have to be as expensive as you might think. For example, included in the Irish Rallycross Championship are a number of budget classes, which you can race in without spending a small fortune!

If you are interested in getting involved in Rallycross, an ideal first step would be to try one of the Mondello Park driving thrill (ideally the Rally Thrill); This way you can get on track in a race prepared car (or rally car) or single seater, without having to commit to purchasing one … just yet!

Once you are hooked (and you will be) the next step is to contact Motorsport Ireland to discuss getting the required motorsport license, which in the case of Rallycross in Ireland is largely going to be a Speed Category “National B” license at a minimum.

For more information on how to get involved in Rallycross in Ireland and how to apply for your license, see all the relevant information on the Rallycross section of the Motorsport Ireland website.
